In the sunlight, in the silence I’ve been here before
I remember, crystal moments and always room for more
Waking sleeping, laughing crying a rhythm for the rain
And the feeling of believing the river sings the same

Chorus 1:

Sleeping on a winters night
Listening for the rain
Waiting for someone to come
And take me there again
I remember stars at night that never seem to show
And I believe in a universe that I may never know

Little Big Sur in the valley I hear your waters pray
Words and whispers of the wonder and always more to say
Sitting softly by your water I think I can believe
Simply sitting softly silent and open to receive
