I keep writing songs but mostly no one hears them. This one struck a chord with John Vallins, a friend who happened to have a studio and, as chance would have it, was even a musician. He liked this one, we recorded it, and the rest is history. If there actually is a history when the seas rise and fires burn.

And maybe they are right

Nothing's going to happen over night
And by the time it does
I'll have moved into sweet repose
Someone else will have to clean up the mess

Becomes an ugly place to be
